What kinds of projects does Christo Contracting take on?
Three main things: residential remodels, home additions, and new construction. Small remodels and small additions are welcome — a compact bathroom refresh is a real project. Standalone handyman repairs (a drywall patch, a single small fix) are not the right fit.
Do you take small repair jobs?
Not as standalone work. A small remodel or a small addition is welcome; a one-off patch or minor repair is better served by a handyman.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes — permits, inspections, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination are part of the general-contracting side of every project.
Can we live in the house during a remodel?
Often yes — work is sequenced room by room where possible. Whether that is realistic for your project gets answered honestly at the walk-through.

What affects the cost of a remodel?
Scope is the biggest driver — a surface refresh costs far less than layout changes that move walls, plumbing, or electrical. Material grade and what turns up behind the walls matter too. Every project is priced from an on-site walk-through, so you know the number before work starts.

The Kansas City metro on both sides of the state line, from a Grandview, MO base — including Raytown, Belton, Lee's Summit, Overland Park, Olathe, and surrounding communities.
Do you work in Kansas as well as Missouri?
Yes — both sides of the state line, including Kansas City KS, Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, Shawnee, and Leawood.
